CEF / MARKET ESTIMATE
Latest verified available report: 2026-10-16 · Dated report · awaiting a newer publisher report
Published average period: 2026-10-02 to 2026-10-16. The daily observation is shown separately.
| Product | Daily recovery | Published period average | Average implication |
|---|---|---|---|
| Petrol 95 | 31.977 c/L | -184.343 c/L | Increase pressureUnder-recovery |
| Petrol 93 | -2.6 c/L | -188.273 c/L | Increase pressureUnder-recovery |
| Diesel 500ppm | -55.67 c/L | -125.229 c/L | Increase pressureUnder-recovery |

| Illuminating paraffin | -169.031 c/L | -311.597 c/L | Increase pressureUnder-recovery |
CEF labels positive values as over-recovery and values in parentheses as under-recovery. We store parentheses as negative values. Under-recovery points to increase pressure; over-recovery points to decrease pressure. The period-average row is taken directly from the report, not calculated from a single daily value.
This is a market estimate. Final adjustments can include other components and are officially announced separately. It is not a guaranteed next-month price, today’s published price or a commercial quotation. We do not invent observations for missing days or weekends.

REVIEWED EXPLANATORY NOTE
Petrol has a regulated pump price. Diesel has a published wholesale reference and an unregulated retail price. The price structure combines the basic fuel price with domestic costs, margins, transport and levies. A dated reference does not include your specific delivery arrangement.

Validation: reviewed source dataset. Values are held in cents/litre and explicitly converted to rand/litre. Petrol uses published pump prices; diesel and paraffin use wholesale references. Display rounding does not change the stored value.
